The Center for Early Modern Studies (CEMS) is hosting a day-long symposium on “Early Modern Otherworlds”. Our colleagues Kristin Phillips-Court, Ullrich Langer, Jan Miernowski, Frédéric Neyrat, Daniel Kapust, Mario Ortiz-Robles, and many others are participating in this event, as well as two keynote speakers, Christopher Heuer (Rochester U, Art History) and Arielle Saiber (Johns Hopkins U). Professor Saiber is an Italianist, as is another participant joining us from SUNY-Buffalo, Paola Ugolini, who will speak about Ariosto.
