Free and open to the public, in person at the French House and on Zoom.
Starting this summer, the French House will be hosting a series of monthly public lectures. We aim to include a wide variety of topics that are of interest to the French-speaking and Francophile community in Madison and in the greater Midwest.
Our first Conférence will be held on Thursday, July 13, at 4 pm at the French House. Professor Fatima Chnane-Davin, INSPÉ d’Aix-Marseille, will present a talk in French entitled “Enjeux et usages de la f(F)rancophonie: De la variation linguistique à la diversité culturelle.” The abstract of her talk is attached.
Reception with refreshments to follow!
If you would like to attend virtually, please email conferences@uwfrenchhouse.org, and the Zoom link will be sent to you. We hope to see you there!
