Research Interests

My main academic interests are Francophone literature, Gender Studies and Film Theory.  These topics have sparked my interest since I started studying French literature around the world. My passion for Francophone literature has given me the opportunity to grow stronger and to question my opinions regarding the struggles of women and men in colonial and patriarchal societies in the past and the evolution of these struggles in modern literature. Moreover, it is my passion for social justice that has fueled my research, pushed me to work harder and continues to help me grow and question myself.
