French 105 and 205 are newer courses taught in an accelerated format.
French 105 combines concepts taught in both French 101 and 102. Completing French 105 is the same as completing French 102, earning foreign language level 2. French 105 counts towards L&S credit, elementary level, foreign language level 2, and accelerated honors.
French 205 combines concepts taught in both French 203 and 204. Completing French 205 is the same as completing French 204, earning foreign language level 4. French 205 counts towards L&S credit, intermediate level, foreign language level 4, and accelerated honors.
