This 3-credit course is conducted in English. This course offers a general survey of Italian film and of the relationship between film and the other arts. There will be consideration of film theory and of the Italian and European socio-political situation in the context of film production.
Prerequisites: Students taking the course for credit toward the Italian major must have Italian 204 or equivalent; all other students must have Comm. Arts 350 or consent of instructor.
