GAFIS Symposium, “CONSTRAINTS”

WELCOME! The GAFIS Graduate Student Symposium, now in its 28th year, provides a forum for intellectual and scholarly exchange in a positive collegial atmosphere. Interdisciplinary in nature, this national event gives future colleagues the chance to meet each other and to hear about current issues in upcoming research. Excellence and pertinence are assured through an anonymous and peer juried selection process.

This year’s symposium, titled Constraints, will be held at the University of Madison-Wisconsin on Friday March 20 and Saturday March 21, 2015. The Keynote address will be delivered by Professor Douglas Hofstadter (Indiana University) on Friday March 20.
