November 27, 2015 Assistant Professor Jennifer Gipson won the Nineteenth-Century French Studies’ Larry Schehr memorial award for the best junior faculty essay on November 7, 2015. Her essay is entitled “The Newspaper vs. the Storyteller: Phantasms of Orality and the Quarrel of the roman-feuilleton.”
